Greetings and congratulations from USA! I am an American-Romanian and I am truly impressed by the heroism and thirst for liberty you, the Ukrainian people have demonstrated over the months you fought the corrupt communist regime. I was an active participant in the bloody Romanian revolution of December 1989 that ousted the communist tyrant Ceausescu and his wife. I know the feelings of excitement and exhilaration the Ukrainian people feel right now. But because I lived in two worlds - communist Romania and democratic America, I have an advice to give you: arm yourself and teach your children and grandchildren how to shoot. Because there is nothing tyrants fear more than an armed and trained people. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion and political freedom of the people only last as long as the government knows the people can rise and take up arms. One of America's founding fathers - Thomas Jefferson once said "The Constitution of the United States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed." Another founding father - Patrick Henry wrote "Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.... The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun." - Patrick Henry Again, congratulations to all Ukrainians and may God rest in peace the fallen heroes of the revolution.
