Toy Gun March
Last week, Austin Petersen, creator of the Toy Gun March, received approval from a board of 30 federal officers to move forward with the “armed” march scheduled for July 3 in Washington, D.C.
The march will be at 9 a.m., starting at the Arlington Memorial Bridge and ending at the National Mall. Marshals will also be present to direct traffic and ensure safety.

As gun sensitivity reaches an all-time high in America, the newest observable example comes from a teen suspended for pretending to shoot at students…with his hand.
14-year-old Hunter Lance of Marysville, Washington is accused of walking through the hallways of Marysville Middle School using his hand as a mock gun, pretending to shoot at students. His feigned firing incident took place May 31st, but is only now making headlines.
SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace
The recently announced SIG SB15 brace is now a standard option on several of the company’s pistols. The new pistols include the P516 with the 7.5″ and 10″ barrels, the SIG P556 SWAT with a 10″ barrel and the P556 Classic.
The SB15 brace is a forearm brace that looks like a very short buttstock with adjustable straps that affix the unit to the shooter’s forearm. The idea is to provide greater control and stability when shooting one of these large pistols.

This year represents the 50th anniversary of the SVD Dragunov rifle. Introduced into the service of the Soviet Union army in 1963, this semi-automatic sniper rifle has proved itself a capable performer in the field.
Since 1964, the Dragunov has been made by Izhmash, a Russian arms and vehicle manufacturer. To commemorate the 50th anniversary, Izhmash announced the modernized SVD will be completed later this year.

Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM) is Canada’s special forces operations responsible for responding to terrorism threats inside of Canada, as well as protecting Canadian interests around the world.

Officials have agreed not to file criminal charges against a Washington D.C. man who used his handgun to kill a pit bull in order to stop it from mauling a child.
Benjamin Srigley made an agreement with authorities last week which will require the 39-year-old to pay a $1,000 fine for the three unregistered firearms and ammunition that were found in his possession the day he saved Jayeon Smith from three unleashed pit bulls. During the attack, Srigley used his Ruger 9mm pistol to shoot at the animals that left Jayeon with scars on his elbow, torso and leg.
“In our recent memory this is a unique charge because of the unusual circumstances of this case,” said Ted Gest a spokesman for the office of the attorney general.
Police of Houston
Three armed intruders broke into a home in Houston and after attacking the resident, locked him in an upstairs closet.
Only the intruders didn’t realize that the closet where they locked him was the same closet where he kept his guns, and when he emerged from the closet he shot one of the intruders.
